Dott.ssa Laura Frighi

Doctor of Psychology & Educator

I was born in Ferrara, and my personal and professional journey led me to live first in Trieste, then in Florence, and, for the past two years, in Borgo San Lorenzo.

I have a Doctor of Psychology degree and am currently completing the registration process with the Tuscan Register of Psychologists. I have also gained extensive professional experience as a nursery school teacher, working closely with children and families on a daily basis.

It is precisely from this encounter with the world of childhood that my way of working developed.

My pedagogical approach begins with listening and embracing children's deepest emotions. Through behavioral observation and ongoing training, I have learned to build an empathetic relationship that respects each child's needs, timing, and history.

Daily contact with families has also helped me understand the importance of creating a space where parents can feel listened to, welcomed, and supported without judgment.

La mia filosofia

I deeply believe in the value of relationships and in the possibility of creating places where people don't have to face everything alone.

Throughout my life I have practiced meditation and yoga, and I carry with me the value of stopping, returning to the here and now, and cultivating kindness and gratitude towards oneself.

I also believe in the strength of a group. For me, friendship means acceptance, sharing, support, and even lightheartedness and fun.

This is where the desire to create not only one-on-one meetings but also paths that connect people, fostering discussion, listening, and mutual support, comes from.

Particular attention is paid to women during pregnancy and the postpartum period: times of profound change in which having a space to listen and a network around you can make a huge difference.

What we feel, how we experience relationships, or the difficulties we encounter do not necessarily arise from nothing, but can take shape in the experiences we live and the dynamics that surround us.

This is why I consider psychological therapy not just a space to address a symptom, but an opportunity to more deeply understand the meanings, needs, and relational modalities that may lie behind suffering.

Each program is tailored to meet individual needs, timeframes, and resources, with the goal of fostering greater awareness, self-understanding, and well-being in relationships.
